SUMMER CLASSES
MBC will offer summer classes for all ages.  Our July session is a 4 week session that serves as a great way for new dancers to try out our studio, is perfect for figure skaters who wish to work on their line, and for our current dancers who would like to continue their development over the summer. Classes will be held once a week on THURSDAYS beginning JULY 8^th. Times are as follows:

Creative Movement-------1:45-2:30------$40 for 4 weeks
Ages 4-5

Pre-Ballet------------------2:30-3:15------$45 for 4 weeks
Ages 6-7

Ballet 1A/1B---------------3:15-4:15------$50 for 4 weeks 
Ages 7-10 (previous ballet experience suggested)

Ballet 2A/2B---------------4:15-5:30------$60 for 4 weeks
Ages 9-11 (must have previous ballet experience)

Ballet 3A+------------------5:30-7:00------$75 for 4 weeks
Ages 11+ (must have previous pointe experience)

There is no registration fee due for summer classes.  Dancers that were students at MBC last fall/spring will want to enroll in the same level they were in the fall/spring. Do not register for your 2010 level placement unless suggested to by your instructor.

AUGUST INTENSIVES
The Senior Intensive runs for three weeks August 9th through the 27th.  Dancers will experience a variety of exciting classes by guest instructors as well as Miss Eryn and Miss Carla. Classes include, modern, jazz, partnering, turns class, lyrical, history, variations, choreography, and of course pointe and ballet technique. Dancers attend Monday through Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm. We recommend dancers in 3A and above take the full three week course, but dancers may register for individual weeks as well.

The Junior Intensive runs for two weeks August 9th through August 18th. Dancers will experience a variety of classes by guest instructor as well as Miss Eryn and Miss Carla. Classes include, modern, jazz, lyrical, history, and ballet technique. Dancers attend Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 11:30am to 3:30pm.

Prices are:
3 Week Senior Intensive is $625 for all three weeks, or you can take individual weeks for $225.

2 Week Junior Intensive is $200 for both weeks, or you can take indivudual weeks for $125.

 

FALL REGISTRATION DAY: AUGUST 27th
Friday, August 27th from 10am to 3pm.  Come to the studio to meet the instructors, see the classrooms, tour the facility, and register for classes.

NUTCRAKER AUDITIONS: AUGUST 27th
Dancers ages 7 and older are eligible to audition for parts in our 2010 Nutcracker Production. 

Dancers ages 7-13 with no pointe experience audition from 11:30-12:15pm

Dancers ages 11+ with pointe experience audition from 12:30-1:45pm
